Rather than creating another traditional baseball tournament design, we imagined the game taking place beneath a glowing full moon where every powerful swing has the potential to launch the ball into orbit.
Designed for the Maple Moonshot 2027 baseball tournament at the Louisville Slugger Sports Complex in Peoria, Illinois, this custom vector logo combines a moon transformed into a baseball, bold modern typography, dynamic paint effects, and a Louisville Slugger bat into a fresh visual identity that celebrates both the excitement of home runs and the magic of baseball under the lights.

The Story Behind the Design

When we first heard the tournament name Maple Moonshot, we didn’t want to simply place a baseball beside a moon.
Instead, we asked ourselves:
What if the moon itself became a baseball?
That simple concept transformed into the centerpiece of the entire composition.
